Amourai Organique Shampoo and Conditioner

It has been a goal of mine recently to try to use more natural products and be more green. I had a great experience with the last attempt when I tried Innersense Shampoo, so I was excited to try some products from Amourai Organique when they sent me a press release. Amourai Organique makes shampoos, conditioners, mists, hair lotions, hair growth stimulators and curl definers that are infused with all-natural and organic ingredients. They are eco-friendly and free of harmful toxins and chemicals. Not 100% USD organic or anything, but I actually feel like I know what 90% of the ingredients are on the label. They have funny names for their products all around the theme of being royal and majestic. I got to try their Silver Spoon Shampoo and the Her Highness Conditioner. The shampoo is nice, lots of suds and I get that squeaky-clean feeling I like so much from the Innersense Shampoo too. The conditioner does a good job of softening and detangling, but I’m not crazy about the smell. Both kind smell like medicine to me, due mostly to the tea tree oil and peppermint. It is a bit much for me. I like the cooling sensation I get from the peppermint, but the smell is a bit like the dentist or something.They are sulfate, paraben, and silicone free though, so their is something. And my hair looks good, even if it smells a little like toothpaste!
