L’Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Eye Pencil

While I am a fan of awesome gel pot eyeliners, I do still use lots of pencil liners. The are good in a pinch, especially when I’m feeling lazy. When I want a thick, dramatic eyeliner line and I don’t feel like dealing with a brush, I reach for a soft pencil that will give me lots of color without much effort (or pressure: I hate when pencils are too hard and make you push and scratch your eye lid). L’Oreal’s Extra Intense Liquid Pencils are great for this. They glide on smooth and are easily blended to create dark, sultry looks. They are super soft, but take a bit to dry so be careful. I really like the grey shade for a slightly toned down version of black, but the black and brown also work really well. I sometimes use the black one over my gel eyeliner, to make it EXTRA black…. crazy, I know! So if you are looking for a good cheap drugstore eyeliner I would recommend these. They do tend to smudge a little after a few hours (or when rubbed) but they are great for (short) evening out on the town.
