Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

VS Lip glossMy girlfriend bought a tube of Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss on a whim while in line at Victoria Secret. She said she bought the Red Delicious one because her bf loves apples (kinda cute/adorable and kinda cheesy). I tried it out because I was desperate for lip stuff one day on a shopping escapade. I didn't like it at first, to be honest. It was very sticky and didn't feel like it moisturized at all. But then I bought my own. I got Grapefruit Blast, since I am slightly obsessed with all things grapefruit. It doesn't seem to be available online, but I bought it not that long ago at the Victoria Secret in Union Square in SF, so you might be able to find it at your local store too. Both shades are more or less clear (one slightly red, one slightly pink) but they have a ton of shine and a bit of sparkle. Seriously, this stuff is uber shine city. And its doesn't feel as sticky as I originally thought, even adds a bit of moisture to my perpetually dry lips. The taste is very subtle (I doubt her bf notices the apple at all!) which I prefer. I like to eat my food, not wear it on my lips. So next time your buying underwear at Victoria Secret, checkout the makeup stands by the register. Gloss Lovely!

  1. If you love lip gloss, you should really try GloMineral's GloGloss. It's super moisturizing, never sticky, and totally juicy-looking.

By the way, they sell GloMinerals at Primadona Spa on Union Street in SF. That spa rocks!

I love the VS Beauty Rush lip glosses! They add a nice amount of color for a gloss, and lots of great shine. I think they’re pretty nice in terms of texture–not too sticky and not too slick (it doesn’t slide out to the edges of my lips like CO Bigelow Mentha Tints!). And they’re cheap, especially if you buy 5 for $20!

The mark Juice Gems are very similar to these, and cost around $6 each.
