Disappointed: MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash

I was super excited to try this new mascara that MAC came out with for one of their latest collections (they have so many, I can’t keep track or stay up), but I was really, very disappointed. I love MAC’s original Zoomlash, an inky black mascara that gives great volume and darkness, so I thought this latest version would be just as good. Zoom Fast Black Lash is supposed to just be a deeper, darker version of the one I love, but they must have changed the formula. About 4 hours after I put it on for the day, I looked into the mirror and to my horror I had black smudges under both my eyes. I looked like a raccoon! Terrible. I had to keep looking in the mirror all day and rubbing the residue out from under my eyes. I knew it had to be the mascara since i wans’t wearing any eyeliner or dark shadow that day. I tried it one more day just to be sure it wasn’t something else, but it still happened. Enough was enough! Now I just wish I saved the box to I could exchange it! The original Zoomlash Zoomblack doesn’t fall or smudge all day long, so I am going to stick to that one. I think it is plenty dark besides. So goes to show, sometimes change is a bad thing!
