rodan feilds mineral peptides lightI want a few simple features in the mineral/powder foundation I wear: natural coverage of my flaws, the ability to keep my skin from getting shiny by the days end, and protection from the sun. Rodan & Fields, the famous duo of dermatologists that run the infomercial world, asked me to try their version of mineral makeup from their Enhancements line of products, and I accepted. The Rodan & Fields Enhancements Mineral Peptides SPF 20 does all three of those things for me. I use the light shade, since the medium is too dark for my pale skin, even at the end of the summer. The bronze shade could be used as a bronzer but I have never really mastered the art of applying loose bronzer (shameful, I know). These powders are designed “to support’s skin’s resiliency to environmental aggressors and irritants and provides sun protection, while rodan feilds mineral brushlight deflecting minerals immediately even skin tone and reduce redness,” according to their website. I think they do a good job of covering up my imperfects and remaining light and not cakey. They also apply very nicely with the brush they gave me along with the powders. It is a retractable synthetic kabuki brush that is actually quite nice. It blends the products very well and feel soft on the skin. I’m sticking it in my purse makeup bag for on the go powder application to be sure.

Powder Lovely!
