The Kings & Queens Emperor Akbar Mango Collection has a fun story behind it: Akbar the Great was the 16th century Mughal Emperor of India that ascended the throne when he was just 14. One of his most renowned achievements to date was his famous planting of a genentically superior variety of 100,000 mango trees in the Lakh Bagh orchard. In homage to Emperor Akbar’s admiration of the luscious fruit, Kings & Queens introduced this line by his name.
These products have the indulgent scent of pure mango, and include a showergel ($9) and body butter ($15) which moisturizes and smooths skin with ingredients like shea butter, beeswax and coconut oil. Yum! Available on Beauty.com and at Target stores. I got to try the shower gel and it is instantly one of my favorites. I love the rich fruity scent of mangoes morning and night. The story makes is all the more fun.
Lather Royally!
