My favorite royal figure in history is Queen Elizabeth, both because we share a name and because she was such a bad-ass woman (who I doubt really did die a “virgin”). It turns out that we also share a love of sweets. Apparently, a four-day sugar feast was thrown in celebration of her coronation.
