Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion

Being a religious body butter user when it comes to my legs, I was hesitant to even try Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion as an alternative to post-shaving moisturizing. But I guess that is part of this “job” description. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by this lotion. It is nice and light, yet feels great on my freshly shaved legs and my arms (which I do NOT shave, thank you blond hair!). The scent is very subtle, so it doesn’t conflict with my perfume. It dries nice and fast and leaves no residue. I haven’t been using it long enough to notice if it is really making my hairs grow back softer and slower, but according to multiple different reviews on TotalBeauty.com, it does do this for many people. I need to shave at least every other day, so a little relief from that this summer would be welcome. I have to admit, using a lotion with a pump bottle is definitely more convenient that a big old tub of body butter. I still love them so, but this is a pretty good alternative.
