Mystic Tan Sunless Tanning Lotion for Face and Body
Happy summer everyone! Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have been experiencing a very nice warm spring these last few weeks, so I hope our typical summer gloom stays away. If it doesn’t, I have a plan to keep my legs skirt ready. I’m definitely petrified of a bad self-tanner episode, so I steer away from products that are too dark or seem hard to apply evenly. Mystic Tan’s Sunless Tanning Lotion for Face and Body is right up my ally. It is on the paler side, which is good for my fair skin. It goes on with a touch of visible color and then develops over a few hours.
After a shower where I exfoliated and shaved my legs, I applied moisturizer to my legs and feet, concentrating on my knees and heels. Then I used some latex gloves to apply the Mystic Tan to my legs, so that I didn’t have to worry about staining my hands. I did it on a night where I would just being hanging out at home, since I didn’t want to get it on my clothes. It also has a bit of that typical self-tanner smell (from the Dihydroxyacetone aka DHA), albeit not as bad as some. But I did want to wash it off in a quick shower in the morning. My legs have a nice summer-kissed glow about them, which is hard to come by in SF, especially with a job that keeps me indoors behind a desk all day. Check it out for yourself, as a subtle way to get some bronze. I don’t think I’m courageous enough to use it on my face, but if you do, let me know what you think!
Tan Lovely!

I love this stuff. This self-tanner is amazing. I bought this and use the product – it seems to spread much better. The colur is really natural and doesn’t leave that smell.
I agree. It’s pretty awesome. I bet if I only use it every other week, no one will even guess that I’m using self tanner!
For best results, you want to shave your legs and exfoliate before doing any sunless tanning. This removes dead skin cells and will allow the product to soak into your skin easier. Don’t forget to apply a Tan Extender on a regular basis (after each time you shower) to retain moisture and keep your skin tan longer.

Victoria
Thanks Victoria, I totally agree!
I just got this to try myself! I’m pale, so some sunless tanning is definitely in order!
oh just be careful with tanning lotions because some of them are cancerous too, avoid using chemical based tanning lotions ;;
