I haven’t dabbled much in the world of eye creams due to my young age. But obviously I know this youth of mine won’t last forever and I better start exploring the world of anti-aging eye creams now while there is still time. So when I was given the chance to try Estée Lauder’s new Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex I jumped. I have only used it for about a week, so no visible changes have occurred, but I am enjoying the experience. I am young and am fortunate enough to have good genetics; My mom’s skin has aged remarkably well and I think mine will too, due to the high level of fat on our faces (chubby cheeks are good for something!) but I’m no scientist. I probably should count on good genes alone to keep me looking young and fresh.
The world is full of things that are attacking my skin. UV light, smoke, pollution and just daily stress will certainly accelerate the visible signs of aging–fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles, dryness and uneven skin tone. Yuck! So I need something that will help protect me from those things. Estée Lauder was inspired to developed Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex by extensive DNA research on “clock genes” which regulate a series of precisely timed repair responses within each skin cell to help maximize its DNA repair. With age and repeated exposure to environmental stresses, skin’s “clock genes” become de-synchronized, causing skins natural repair and protective processes to slow down. Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex is their answer for skin.
So far I am enjoying the way Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex feels. It is more of a gel than a cream, and so it goes on very smooth and soft. I apply it to my freshly washed face, under my eyes and slightly on the corner. The skin under my eyes does feel softer and smoother, but other than that, I’ve noticed no visible changes to my darkish circles but it has only been a few days. I’ll check back in about a month and let you know how it goes.
Eye Lovely!

weird. but i woke up this morning, saw the mirror, and thought: "i think i should explore eye cream soon" (i just turned 26.) and yes, i don't see wrinkles or anything and never thought of using eye cream due to young-er age and chubby cheeks =) but have you heard of when's a good time to start using eye cream? have you tried any other?
