Estée Lauder A Night to Remember Event Wrap Up
Well, the event was a hit! Macy’s Union Square San Francisco was abuzz with activity on Thursday July 22nd . I got there around 5:30pm, rushing from work and the Bart train. But the team at the Estée Lauder counter at Macy’s immediately set me at easy and started to work at getting me pampered! I can’t remember the last time I had my makeup done by someone else. What fun! It is a little hard for me, since I am a bit of a control freak, but I ended up really enjoying the look I was given and I learned new ways to use the Advanced Night Repair Eye Complex.
I was treated to a full skin and makeup consultation by a lovely makeup artist named Alina. She selected lovely smelling skin lotions for my face and beautiful colors for my eyes. My favorite was when she showed me that I could use the Advanced Night Repair Eye Complex mixed with my under eye concealer, to give me coverage and some glow and counter act darkness. She also dabbed some of the Advanced Night Repair Eye Complex on the top of my cheek bones to add a touch of luminescence to my face. At this rate I’m going to run out of this stuff quick.
The event was a huge success; there were people all over the place, standing in line to get their samples and find out what all the commotion was about. I had a lot of fun meeting the Estée Lauder team and hanging out with the other two bloggers who came to the event. I definitely caught my eye on some things at the counter and so I know will be back very soon! Check out our gorgeous makeovers:

I have never gotten a makeup over at EL so it’s great to see and hear good things about them. I’ve tried several of their serums but always thought they were kind of huh, nothing spectacular. Perhaps I need to look again.
