Hardy Candy Ginormous Lash in Mudslide

I am a pretty consistent user of the blackest black of black mascara’s out there. But seeing as I am blonde with blue eyes, I can easily tone down my eye look by going the brown/neutral route. I was skeptical at first to try Hard Candy’s Ginormous Lash in Mudslide because a least 75% of the mascara’s I try disappoint. I look in the mirror at work at about 3pm and they are all over my under eye, smeared to all hell. Well this cheap mascara was a pleasant surprise. I like the brush, it gives me just the right amount of product and glides on nicely. The effect is not overly thick or clumpy, just some added thickness and the color is a pretty dark purple-brown. I’ve been wearing it with some one of my neglected brown liners and a nice pretty pale shadow, for the effect of a dramatic yet neutral eye. This formula comes in some other more fun colors as well, like purple, bronze and blue, which I am eager to try. At $6 each and available at your local Wal-Mart, you can really go nuts. Go ahead, I won’t tell.
