Back from the Dead… With New Fabulous Nails: OPI’s Texas Collection

So I really have no excuses for my absence… let’s just call it burn out and go with that. But for some reason today felt like the day to post and unfortunately, all I want to post about is my fabulous new nail polishes… again. The OPI Texas collection came out in February and for me it was the nicest way to welcome spring. Getting my toes and nails polished with one of these sherbet-like shades made me so happy, it didn’t suck so bad that the warm weather took until the week AFTER my birthday in March to arrive. I went right over to my local Pure Beauty shop and bought three of the pinkish shades and they were having a sale so it was quite a steal! I got Big Hair…Big Nails (an orange-coral), Guy Meets Gal-veston (a hot pink), and Too Hot Pink to Hold ‘Em (a purpley-pin). They are all very sheer, like a jolly rancher candy. So even when you do two coats, which you kind of have to in order to get the color to be consistant, you can see-through ‘em. They are VERY fun, flirty and fresh for SPRING! Thanks god it is finally here!
From left to right top to bottom:
I Vant to Be A-Lone Star, It’s Totally Fort Worth It, Austin-tatious Turquoise, Don’t Mess with OPI, San Tan-tonio, Suzi Loves Cowboys, Y’all Come Back Ya Hear?, Big Hair…Big Nails, Guy Meets Gal-veston, Too Hot Pink to Hold ‘Em, Do You Think I’m Tex-y?, and Houston We Have a Purple.
Spring Lovely!
