I was beyond thrilled at the opportinity to try Clarisonic‘s latest edition to their line of skincare collections. I was mostly just thrilled to try the brush, but a cleanser that fights ance? Sign me up! I may be in my late 20s but I still breakout, especially on my chin and lately under my chin, which is just uncomfortable and werid. But clearly a place that’s hard to clean properly when washing your face. But not with this beauty of a brush!
With the Clarisonic Acne Clarifying Collection, it is about the brush head and about the cleanser. The Clarisonic Mia 2 brush that comes in the set can be used with a variety of different brush heads. The brush head in the set is safe for use on acne-prone skin. It’s extra-plush bristles are designed to deliver a concentrated flushing of the pores. The soft bristle tips are uniquely textured to provide an ultra-gentle cleansing action on sensitive, compromised skin. Plus it fits on any Clarisonic blush, which is nice.
I am obsessed. I have not washed my face once without it since I started using it last week. I thought it would be an annoyance, an extra step in my routine and all that. But it feels so amazing and my face feels exponentially cleaner and smoother afterwards. I take it into the shower even and use it every morning and night.
I like the cleanser in the system too. It has 2% salicylic acid, so treats acne by dring up and clearing blemishes. It also helps prevent new blemishes from forming. The cleanser is enriched with vitamins and botanicals to help reduce the appearance of redness and leave skin feeling soft and smooth. I find the cleanser not over drying and general. I have also used the brush with other cleansers. Anything you use with it, the brush helps them work so much better and more efficiently.
I am a complete convert. I will never wash myself again without the Clarisonic brush. Sign, sealed, and delivered. Done. And my breakouts have subsided greatly, especially under my chin. Love. It. GO get one, you will not be disappointed.
