The latest edition to the Michael Kors fragrance line is one of my favorites. Michael Kors Suede was inspired by the simplistic sexiness of clean, bare skin. I don’t know about this, I found it pretty strong and heady, but very pleasant. The main scent is a voluptuous tuberose, very much like his other scents. This one is warm and tactile, “similar to that of sun-drenched skin.” It has a warmth to it for sure, but not overly so. It is certainly feminine and a bit sensual. I sprayed a couple squirts on my neck and two on my wrists (not rubbing them together though, it bruises the scent!) and I felt just a little bit sexy and a whole lot pretty.
Here are the scent notes:
Top notes: mandarin, water lily, orange blossom, and violet leaves
Middle notes: tuberose, gardenia, jasmine and michelia
Base notes: musk, cashmere, sandalwood and frangipani
This limited edition fragrance is available in stores starting April 2012 and online for $75 for 1.7oz.
