Get The Look: Katy Perry’s Rocks Purple Hair and Red Wine Lips At the Billboard Music Awards 2012

There were a ton of ladies who rocked a dark red lip at the Met Gala earlier this month, but Katy Perry’s look at the Billboard Music Awards pulled it off. She looks hot, but not like she is trying too hard or putting on too much. But maybe that is just because her look is always over the top!

Celebrity makeup artist Todd Delano decided to give Katy Perry a bit of a glamorous twist on 90’s goth look. Her eyes were classically lined and defined, her cheeks were perfectly contoured and her lips were bold and reminiscent of cabernet.

All of this actually complimented her bright purple locks, created by her long time colorist Rita Hazan. Watch this video where Rita recreated Katy’s purple locks for one of her biggest fans.

 

FACE:

Todd used Lancome’s new Blush Subtil Palette in Nectar Lace (available August 2012) to contour her flawless complexion after foundation.

EYES:

He used Lancome Color Design 5 Pan Palette in Taupe Craze all over her lids and then Lancome’s Liner Design Gel EyeLiner in Black Fishnets to create a gorgeous thick black eyeliner. He topped off the doll-eyed look with Lancome’s Hypnôse Custom Volume Mascara in Black.

LIPS:

Her started by lining her lips with Lancome’s Le Lipstique LipColouring Stick in Portelle and then he applied Lancome’s Rouge in Love Lipcolor in Fiery Attitude for that perfect wine-colored lip.
