You should really wear an SPF on your face every day, but especially now that the weather is warmer and you’ll be out in the sun more. I basically demand that any moisturizer I wear contain at these an SPF for 15. But Neova DNA Damage Control Silc Sheer 2.0 has a SPF of 40 AND it contains a bit of tint, so I’m even more happy. It isn’t quite as moisturizing as just a straight moisturizer for your face, but it provides great protection and I can see myself wearing this all summer long as a sub for full on foundation.
It leaves my face fairly matte, which is great for hot weather where any extra shine is just not acceptable. It is water-resistant to so I imagine throwing it into your beach bag. I love the pump and that it locks closed, so you don’t have to worry about a mess, but be careful. I find one full pump is way too much product for my face and neck, a half pump does just fine.
This is not just a sunscreen though, it has photolysomes, derived from plankton, and end0somes, from marine microbs, that treat the damage the sun has already done to your skin and improve the appearance of your skin. UV-inflicted damage adds up overtime and its effects on the skin’s DNA account for nearly all the visible signs of aging. Other sunscreens help to prevent skin injury, but do nothing to correct damage.
Neova DNA Damage Control Silc Sheer 2.0 SPF 40 works to repair the tissue at the cellular level – where DNA damage occurs, while protecting the skin from additional UV insults. Done! My new go-to face sunscreen! Sun damage be dammed!
It costs $45.00 for 2.5 oz and is available for sale on nextderm.com
