Get The Look: My 4th of July Manicure

So i’m sitting here sick, not sure if i’ll be able to even go out and enjoy myself this 4th of July… So I painted my nails. Of course it did.

Here is what I used:

Base Coat: Dermelect’s Launchpad, always a good idea to use a base coat, especially when using dark colors, so then don’t stain your nail beds!

Red: I painted Dermelect’s new ME polish in Power Trip. This is an excellent true bright bold opaque red. I painted all my nails in this first, but in hignsight I would have skipped in on the blue and silver nails. But it looks ok peeking through I guess. I did two coats of the red.

Silver: I used Obessesive Complusive Cosmetics polish in Arsnic. This is actually an awesome, super thick glitter polish. I barely had to do two coats to get an almost completely silver look.

Blue: I used China Glaze in Meteor Shower. This is deep dark blue with multicolored gliter. I thought it would be more glitter less color, otherwise I would have done it on it own, not over the red.

Top Coat: I used Essie 3 way glaze. This top coat has really done me well recently. As long as i give it enought time to try, my polish last twice as long that if I don’t use a top coat/

So thats it… I am hoping that after I let these dry and shower, i’ll be able to go out and enjoy some 4th festivities. Ugh!

4th Lovely!
