They all seem about the same to me. And they don’t tend to work well with powder foundations, which I wear habitually. But Benefit’s new Girl Meets Pearl, a liquid pearl for you face, is pretty darn beautiful. You can use it under your foundation as a primer, or straight over, on the apples of your cheeks, bridge of your nose and even your cupid’s bow (above…

While I love pot liner, I’ve been wanting to try a traditional liquid eye liner again, now that I have more practice. Well at a Benefit Cosmetics blogger event this week, I got a sample of their newest product, Magic Ink. So why not have a color or two in amongst the blacks and more blacks?! I’ve tried Benefit’s Bad Gal Plum in the past, but never their more popular older incarnation Benefit Bad Gal Blue. Its meant to be lightly dusted all over, head to toe, for a subtle bronze and slight glow. I like it well enough, but be warned: too much is TOO much. I recommend using this with a fan brush like the one that comes with, or with a big loose powder brush that you swirl into…
