I think I got more sun in the spring than I have in this first month of summer. So I need a little help from some bronzers and self-tanners to keep me looking less dead. Tarte cosmetics has come out with a new bronzer, as a sister product to their popular park ave princess mineral powder. The Park Ave Princess Matte Waterproof Bronzer is a great…

They are just too darn hard to apply evenly and end up looking a mess. But this gorgeous compact from Hourglass Cosmetics came in the mail and just one look at that sexy compact and I had to try it out. Now I can’t get enough! The Hourglass Illume Creme to Powder Bronzer Duo in Sunset has a great bronzer…

Its meant to be lightly dusted all over, head to toe, for a subtle bronze and slight glow. I like it well enough, but be warned: too much is TOO much. I recommend using this with a fan brush like the one that comes with, or with a big loose powder brush that you swirl into…

Instead of purchasing a new one, I dug into my makeup box to find another option. Out popped Stila’s Sun Bronzing Powder with SPF 15. I think I bought this awhile ago, either on recommendation or on a whim at Sephora, but regardless I never used it…

But I don’t look over tanned like some so-cal beach babe either. I’d like to think of it as a healthy touch…
